With the maintenance manager, users can prevent unplanned downtime and solve some problems remotely via TAS Cloud

TAS Cloud: New Toolset for Turck Automation Suite

05/24 – TAS Cloud simplifies condition monitoring, system management and remote maintenance for machine and system manufacturers

Mülheim, April 11, 2024

Turck is expanding its Turck Automation Suite (TAS) IIoT and service software platform with the TAS Cloud industrial cloud service for remote maintenance and condition monitoring. Customers can put together their own individual cloud solution from six modules and thus also customize the billing of their services. Users only pay for services that they actually use.

The Maintenance Manager in TAS Cloud is setting a new benchmark. Using a modular principle, this service enables users to create, schedule, carry out and document maintenance schedules for their machines without any programming. TAS Cloud communicates via the MQTT IIoT standard, which guarantees the best connectivity to other systems and services. Service technicians can monitor machine states and control functions remotely. The cloud service offers a convenient VPN connection for unrestricted access to all functions, just like in a company network.

With the launch of TAS Cloud, Turck is now offering the second module set of its Automation Suite. The previously available TAS set of service tools will be further developed in future under the name TAS Desktop.  The IIoT and service platform will be completed in the medium term by TAS Edge with all the necessary tools for edge computing on Turck hardware and TAS Mobile, a special version for mobile devices.

TAS Cloud can be connected via all TX HMIs and edge controllers from Turck as well as the BL20 and BL67 modular I/O systems. The TBEN-L-PLC IP67 PLC will also soon be available as a client for TAS Cloud.
